Megaworld to open world’s largest Mövenpick hotel by end-2026
Megaworld Hotels & Resorts (Philippines) has agreed with global operator Accor to rebrand its 1,530-room Grand Westside Hotel as Mövenpick Manila Bay Westside. Once reopened, it will be the largest Mövenpick hotel in the world. The 19-storey double-tower hotel will link directly to a casino and entertainment complex via sky-bridge — part of an integrated township project in Manila aimed at boosting tourism and premium hospitality offerings. Glasgow restaurant moves into new hotel with expansion plans
The Italian restaurant Celentano’s will relocate from its current home at Cathedral House and reopen inside the upcoming Arthouse Glasgow hotel in April 2026. The new venue will seat more than 60 guests — nearly double its previous capacity — and will also manage the hotel’s bar and lounge spaces. Celentano’s will continue its ingredient-led, low-waste cooking style, including open-flame cooking, and will return signature dishes such as seasonal vegetable agnolotti and malted-barley affogato, alongside fresh menu additions.
