Oman’s Hotel Revenues Surge in 2025
Hotels in Oman rated 3–5 stars reported a 22.2 % increase in revenues in 2025, reaching about RO 297.3 million (roughly $773 million) by the end of the year. Occupancy rates climbed to 56.7 % from 49.9 % in 2024, indicating stronger travel demand. Guest numbers across nationalities also rose, with notable growth from Europe, the Americas, Asia and Africa, reflecting Oman’s boost as a tourism destination. The Ickworth to Reopen in 2026 After Full Refurbishment
Luxury Family Hotels announced that The Ickworth will reopen in May 2026 following a complete renovation led by interior design studio StudioJill. Set within 1,800 acres in Suffolk, the project covers all bedrooms, public spaces, wellness areas, and dining venues. The redesign respects the historic Italianate palace while updating it for modern family stays. This marks StudioJill’s fifth and final full refurbishment for the brand, following work at Fowey Hall, Moonfleet Manor, New Park Manor, and Woolley Grange.
