⚡ World of Hyatt, the loyalty program for Hyatt hotels, has formed a major new partnership by integrating the Mr & Mrs Smith boutique hotel collection. This adds over 700 luxury and boutique properties to the Hyatt portfolio in destinations like Fiji, Namibia, and the British Virgin Islands that were previously lacking Hyatt representation.

⚡ Hotels and resorts across the U.S. have recently appointed new food and beverage leaders, including Arlo Hotels, which has named Pepe Moncayo as culinary director for the soon-to-open Arlo Washington, D.C., where he will introduce a new culinary concept inspired by his Spanish heritage.

⚡ Forbes Mexico announced that Wyndham will construct an 'All Inclusive' Hotel named Sisal Xibalbá in Sisal, a Yucatecan municipality recently added to the Pueblos Mágicos program. This new hotel, themed around the Day of the Dead, aims to offer a unique experience, marking the first internationally renowned hotel on Yucatán's quiet beaches. Wyndham's Chief Development Officer, Gustavo de la Serna, expressed his excitement about the project.

⚡ LVMH and Accor announced a deal to accelerate the revival of the Orient Express brand, with LVMH making a strategic investment to streamline the brand's offerings, clarifying that LVMH is not planning to open a Louis Vuitton-branded hotel in Paris. This move aims to reduce consumer confusion, as LVMH's subsidiary Belmond manages the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express luxury train service, while Accor operates Orient Express Hotels.
