🔥 Grand Canyon North Rim Lodge Destroyed by Wildfire

A fast-moving wildfire called the Dragon Bravo Fire, sparked by lightning on July 4, has destroyed the historic Grand Canyon Lodge and around 50–80 nearby structures on the North Rim. More than 5,000 acres have burned, and chlorine gas leaked from a damaged treatment plant, forcing evacuations and closure of the area for the rest of the season. No injuries have been reported.
